Offers can offer a lot - not only can they intrigue a customer into buying something, but they can also set your store and reputation apart from the competition. Here are just a few types of offers that you can utilise to promote your business:
First time buyer offers
Offering an amount or percentage off a customer’s first purchase will encourage new customers to purchase, or at least draw attention to your store.
Keeps a customer coming back by offering a loyalty card or something similar - For example, many coffee stores give out stamp cards, which bring their customers back, as there’s the promise of a reward after a certain amount of time.
Money off next purchase vouchers
Following on from rewarding loyalty, offering money off a customer’s next purchase will intrigue them to come back for more - and if they need something specific it may offer an incentive to purchase from you over your competitors.
As the promise of a free item is there, a 3 for the price of 2 offer will encourage customers to purchase 2 items, rather than just one.
Offering money off items that are no longer exciting gets rid of your unwanted stock and brings in at least a little money.
Offering something, for example, free shipping, may give you an edge over your competitors. If you have the same product but offer an easier way for the customer to obtain it, they are more likely to purchase from you.
Offering a discount on items in an abandoned cart will nudge customers to check out, and if they were unsure about purchasing, sweetening the deal a little may encourage them to buy.
Time limited offers
Adding a sense of urgency to your offers will encourage customers to check out before they can doubt themselves.
