Welcome to part 3 of the Amazon SEO Crash Course
You’ve all heard the expression “a picture is worth a thousand words,” yet some of you are still not taking full advantage of the photos in Amazon.
How many times have you visited an e-commerce shop and turned away because the picture looks like crap.
Here’s a quick test: go search for any product on Amazon that you’re interested in and put yourself in the buyer’s shoes. Do you view more than 1 image? The image is important! I view at least 4.
1. Use at least 6 images on your listing
Again, this seems obvious, but not everyone is doing it. Don’t waste the opportunity to prove your product’s worth in the photo section. Include images for as many of the available image slots as possible (you have up to 9 spots). Take advantage of EVERY single one!
2. Quality Quality Quality
Quality is key to success. Don’t hold back on these. If you have to, hire professional photographers. They aren’t that expensive and way worth the investment. You want the buyer to say, “That is the item that I want!” or “That looks very nice!”
3. The Amazon Zoom Feature
This goes back to good quality pictures. Amazon allows you to zoom in on product pictures to see things close up. If your image quality isn’t at the level where you can zoom in and see every little detail, then you are missing out!
Not a Photoshop Pro? You can use free resources such as Canva.com or PicMonkey.com to edit and create compelling images.
